Once again, Jimmie Johnson, four-time champion of the NASCAR Sprint Cup, was found standing on the top step of the podium. Johnson took the first time in America Shelby, the third race of the season for the top category in NASCAR.

During the competition, which took place in the circuit of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Johnson has demonstrated his talent and his ability to drive. This time it was a matter of luck that started in the first Johnson – unlike his last victory. This time, he was credited with the driver gave the victory, strengthening its position as one of the best drivers in the series.

Kurt Busch won the pole at Las Vegas, followed by Jeff Gordon, Johnson, by contrast, has been relegated to the twentieth, the output of the grid.

Busch, but, could not stay ahead of competition by a single curve after Gordon has acted quickly to address first.

Gordon has done an incredible feat, leading the race calendar for 267,210 rounds.

After the second round, the race was his first caution after a crash rookie Kevin Conway.

After restarting, during the 5th lap, Gordon takes the lead. He held this position until lap 46 when another yellow flag was raised after Mike Bliss hit the wall of protection. Gordon turned to surprise when the first easily recover after leaving the pits.

The race had predicted that a high speed event, but as often happens, the forecasts proved incorrect. On a sunny afternoon with a perfectly clear sky, dimming the brightness of the vision of pilots and controllers did not dare to accelerate their car to their full potential.

A few laps later, the third yellow flag was lifted, no light went out, and NASCAR officials chose to leave the jurisdiction to choose the issue.

On his return to the race, Gordon was finally lost in the first place, passed by Greg Biffle. During the restart, Johnson was able to climb several positions and return to the group of riders in the top ten brands of the road.

Gordon and Biffle was elbow to elbow, and Gordon quickly solved first. Meanwhile, Johnson had a slow rise in the ranks, on lap 70, the pilot managed to win third place behind Matt Kenseth and Gordon, his teammate.

These three drivers opened the way until lap 88 when another setback left the event with the elevation of a fourth yellow flag. On their way through the pits, Johnson had a problem with his tire change, and entered the track in sixth place. Meanwhile, Kenseth went to the forefront of the race before Edwards and Gordon.

In turn 93, a car accident caused several fifth caution flag. Gordon regained the lead after his return to the track. Twelve laps after the failure of the rear lights on, and the race was halted for the sixth time.

On the track, Scott Speed was performed first, but was quickly overtaken by Gordon, who had apparently arrived at the position. Johnson was third.

Johnson got up to second and on lap 133, the two Hendrick Motorsports drivers team went hand in hand.

During the final caution, # 48 Chevrolet driver has changed the four tires of his car, while his teammate was changed two. Johnson back on the track in fourth place, but it has not only managed to get to his teammate, but moving on to cross the end line first.

The podium was completed by Kevin Harvick in second and Jeff Gordon in third countries.

Johnson’s victory up to fifth place overall with a total of 443 points. Harvick was in front, the first 506 points.
