The truth be told, not a year has passed in recent times, without at least summarily lynched Black man in America. This type of racist violence has never really stopped to exist in this country. Today, of course, nobody in America except for me it is really has the gall to call this lynching more. But that’s just what it is. And I suspect that the name was changed to guilty “project” to the innocent victim. That is clear. Once again, I am buying. We are living in 21 century people, and damn, something has to give! We as a nation is better than this!

But, suddenly, with the election of Barack Obama appears to be in play for many people simply have grown much higher. Everyone should keep in mind but, that we are being watched by our ancestors, and the future has a cynical eye on us too. For this, I am very safe. The choice of a Black man to the most powerful office in the world has provided the ultimate humanization of Africans in America for the first time during his long stay here five hundred years in the Western world. You can no longer Black and White fans simply hide their wayward beliefs behind the perception of illusory ritual of Black racial inferiority. Following the election of Barack Obama, now this must come to an end. In a sense, this is what the ultimate meaning of Obama is to all people of color. On November 4, 2008 in one fell swoop, Black people are humanized certainly in the United States, and the central pillar of the racial argument was finally dismantled forever. The Black community still remains the only place in American life, which allows a kind of extra-legal violence similar to that often associated with brutal dictatorships around the world. These are the only districts in the country where white police officers usually shoot to kill unarmed civilians, often with no real excuse other than the mere fact that they dared to exist in the world. No other community in the United States where you can find an innocent 92-year-ancient grandmother who is literally shot to death at home, for absolutely no excellent reason at all. It is the only place where the press would dare to try to justify this atrocity to try to turn this woman into a kind of grandmother carrying firearms, just to distract us from what was really going on.4 No other community United States, where they summarily entire class of elite talent and then sentenced Tenth completely abandoned neighborhoods. King’s Bounty (Sega Genesis) – Although this New World Computing developed title saw a release on many different platforms, for this article we will focus on the Sega Genesis version of the game. Graphically, it did not do much that wasn’t already being done better, and the sound is really honestly rudimentary. Fortunately, graphics and sound do not encompass the requirements of a memorable gameplay experience. For King’s Bounty, this element is easily identified. Having played through it well over one hundred times, this author feels safe to call the treasure map system in King’s Bounty one of the best implemented features of any game of its genre and time.

When loading up King’s Bounty, the player must first choose their character. Immediate magic abilities and the power to control large armies are exchanged for shortened time periods in which the game may be completed. Along with exploration, pieces of the map may be earned through conquering castles and capturing wanted criminals who are holding map sections.

Each game of King’s Bounty is its own unique experience. Deciding whether to immediately start amassing armies and taking over castles in order to secure map pieces, or simply exploring the terrain in the hopes of stumbling upon a lost map fragment are choices that wholly choose the tone of the game. Success can be had by being wholly passive, or entirely militant. The game’s well designed and balanced battle system ensures that even those passive players will have a chance at success if they choose to go adventuring rather than conquering. As the map pieces start to form a somewhat readable map, players may start trying to locate the site of their treasure dig. Most games of King’s Bounty end up in a frantic race against the clock as players search for the exact location that their incomplete map represents.

The game is not long, as most adventures can be completed in under an hour or two. It is also not incredibly hard to defeat the game’s enemies, as large armies can be built in relatively small time. But, the game does a fantastic job of randomly distributing map pieces throughout the game world and mixing up the locations of wanted criminals. Simply place, every single game of King’s Bounty is fun and winnable, yet challenging and singular. Could there be any better reason for including the game in this series?

The company supplying the suites takes care of maintenance and cleaning while the guests delight in all the amenities that come with a furnished luxury apartment, house, or condo. There are as many as 1,200 corporate housing operations in North America and the rapid expansion of the market will make new companies. There will always be people with money so the demand exists, but the major problem facing the industry is a possible dwindling of available units due to condominium buy-outs that will reduce availability and possibly drive prices up.

Another fascinating event in Rio de Janeiro in December is the Confetti Battle, Flower Battle and Sea Bathing In Fancy Dresses which will take place on the Copacabana shores. It is a tribute to the 1910-1930s Carnival as during those periods the Carnival was all about confetti and flower battles. This event will be followed by an antique cars parade, with cars from those times. Furthermore, there will be a presentation of five live Nativity Scenes, which will represent diversity and enriching the presentation. The participants who will be wearing their crepe paper costumes will end the performance by sea bathing in their fancy dresses, a must-see event.

Christmas will be highly celebrated throughout the entire month; streets will be bustling with coming/going of Cariocas that will delight in their shopping. In December, the city of Rio de Janeiro will be filled with lights, decorations and other Christmas-like items. The lovely decorations and colored lights on the Flamengo Aterro, the lights along the gorgeous sea fronts, the unique decorations on the shopping malls will surely attract not only children but also tourists from all over the world that chose Rio as their vacation.

We saved the most vital event in Rio this month for the last part of our 2-parts article – the New Year’s Eve. It is considered the second largest event in Rio de Janeiro’s tourist calendar, after the well-known Carnival. The 2009 celebration will gather together millions and millions of people along the Copacabana beachfront, nearly all of them wearing white, to watch the incredible fireworks show that will welcome 2010. The shows for this celebration will be from a varied repertoire – MPB (Brazilian Well loved School), samba schools, samba DJ’ and many more, all of them spread through the entire city: Copacabana, Flamengo, Ipanema, Barra da Tijuca, Ilha do Governador, Penha, Sepetiba, Pedra de Guaratiba, Paquetá and Parque da Vizinhança de Ramos. In addition, parties will be held at various hotels situated along the seafront:

Hotel Copacabana Palace – the New Year’s Eve party will take place in Nobre, Golden and sea-view rooms starting from 8 pm. The well-known chef Francesco Carli will prepare the food to the delight of the participants who will also delight in excellent drinks, live music and many more. The fireworks show will be loved from the verandah of the Nobre Room, with a unique view of the exquisite Copacabana Beach.

Windsor Excelsior – the fireworks show will be viewed from the rooftop of the building where participants will have the opportunity to taste a 12-year-ancient whisky.

Hotel Porto Bay Rio Internacional – will offer various classy options to celebrate the incoming year. In the Events Room, on the fourth floor of the well loved La Finestra Restaurant as well as on the fifth floor, a special and hopefully tasty dinner will be served.

Various clubs from Rio de Janeiro like Marimbás, Costa Brava and Hípica will organize special New Year’s Eve parties for tourists and local inhabitants to delight in.

All things considered, visiting Rio de Janeiro this month is a fantastic solution to kick back, relax and forget about all problems as Rio is the place to party, not only in December but through the entire year.

The fruit of a couple are the children, but most people aren’t really prepared to be parents. All they have is their parents’ examples, and sometimes neighbors, family friends and some other members of the family who probably were not prepared as well. Therefore, their example most likely won’t be the best.

We see generation after generation making the same mistakes over and over again. It seems that most of us are not paying attention. In my classes I teach three very vital lessons:

1. Intelligence is learning from our own mistakes: if something terrible happens to us, we better take measures the next time.

2. Wisdom is learning from somebody else’s mistakes: we don’t have to hurt ourselves to learn, we see other people’s lives, we reason, we conclude and we apply the conclusions to keep ourselves from getting hurt.

3. Stupidity is not even learning from our own mistakes: never mind from somebody else’s mistake, it means we keep on stumbling on the same stones over and over.

Most of us have a small bit of each; the vital thing is to keep changing the percentages until we rid ourselves of all our drawbacks or at least most of it.

Raising a family is not an simple task, one of the many problems I see has to do with how both parents tend to focus on the children and forget one another. What I want to say is, the children should not get all of our attention. When the spouses place the children at the center, that marriage, most likely, is bound for problems, after the children are gone.

Look around us, and we see that most of those couples that centered around the children. After the children grow up, the couple are two perfect strangers for one another. They forgot how to be a couple, and how to care for one another. Most people reckon that the only reason to get married is to have a family, to procreate. Indeed that’s one of the reasons and a very vital one; we have to maintain the human race.

Maybe the following example will help us know the other reason we get married. We never hear anyone say that’s my ex-son or daughter, or father, or mother. Blood ties are always going to be there – even if for some reason or another we deny our family ties, they cannot be dissolved. But we do listen to, he or she is my ex-husband or wife. We get married to have someone in our lives who’s going to complement us, to help us mature and grow together, to care for one another and to fulfill our destiny as members of a society, a country and the world.

Indeed, God gives us children, and we are obligated to care and provide for them. We cannot be like some egocentric spouses; sometimes both of them that reckon that their children are pebbles in their shoes, these spouses push their children out their house, as soon as they are ancient enough. They say they want their freedom back, as if children were chains to our lives.

Nonetheless, the bottom line is we cannot neglect our spouses. When we do so, we are asking for problems. A high percentage of ignored spouses end up being unfaithful or becoming total strangers who share the same roof, but have nothing else in common. Like wasn’t cared for and resentment overtakes our hearts, and what could have been a wonderful life together after the children leave, becomes a nightmare for both spouses.

It is vital to remember that our children are going to leave our house some day, just as we did with our parent’s house, and the person who is going to stay is our spouse. The huge question is how do we want to spend our lives after our children leave? That’s up to us, and no one else. Let’s make sure that we don’t repeat the same mistakes our previous generations did. We need equilibrium, our children and our spouses need our time, our attention and our like.

This can lead to challenges in communication on a mental level because it is hard to communicate when one of you is in a helicopter and the other in a rabbit warren.

By understanding the perspective of others we can adapt our communication to get our message across without unhelpful judgments about them being up in the clouds or nit-picking!

This article will look at the ‘Purpose’ Level and how the criteria we use to guide our behaviour in that relationship can help or hinder how easily we get on.

The Purpose level is one of the four simple levels of relationship that can be used to identify where we have compatibility or friction. When we have brilliant rapport with someone, we are probably able to relate with them on all four levels.

As you probably know excellent relationships are still possible with only two or three levels working well, but it’s very fascinating to diagnose on what levels possible misunderstandings occur. The article below gives us some clues to what our relationships are really built on and some fascinating ways of diagnosing the motivational preferences of the people with whom we are communicating on the ‘Purpose’ level.

Every relationship has a purpose but all too often it is unspoken, undefined and ambiguous. When things are going well we naturally assume that our purpose is aligned and there is a excellent mutual understanding. But this allows many interpretations and both parties may have completely differing views and expectations for the relationship.

When a shift of priorities or external pressure starts to affect the relationship things can become fraught, especially if there is a lack of clarity about the fundamental purpose.

While it is fascinating to look into how this affects personal and intimate relationships, this article will focus on relationships in a work context. But I will invite you to reflect on all the relationships in your life as you read on!

Over the many years that I have been coaching and advising clients, I have met Directors who feel really ‘betrayed’ when a senior manager decides to resign; did they have an unrealistic expectation that the manager was as ‘wedded’ to the long term success of business as they were? (As in ‘until death us do part’!)

Or Managers who believe that the purpose of their employer is to further their career and financial aspirations, and who then complain when they have to place in a few extra hours to fulfil the responsibilities that they do not delight in, or do some learning out of normal hours.

When I was Training and Development Manager at the Waldorf hotel in London the managers thought the purpose of my relationship with them was to ‘fix’ their staff. If someone was underperforming they would send them on one of my courses and then expect them to suddenly be 100% competent without changing their own management style or behaviour (which was often part of the problem).

It took a few years to change the culture and the managers’ understanding of the real purpose of their own relationship with staff. But just after I left the Hotel to go walkabout in India and Nepal for 3 months, the Waldorf was re-recognised as an Investor in People. It was nice to know that the managers did it all by themselves. They had become clear about the purpose of their relationship with their staff; to lead, manage and develop them.

Asking about or discussing the purpose of a relationship can seem like ‘indulgent navel-staring’ and might get you some weird looks, so it is not a fantastic way to start a conversation.

It is much simpler to explore what is vital to someone in a given context. Most people can easily respond to a remark like; “I was just wondering what’s really vital for you at work . . . ”

Their answer is a way for them to describe their ‘criteria’ or ‘values’ in that context. Our values are like ‘Hot buttons’. If they get mentioned we cannot help but have an emotional response. Just question anyone with teenagers – they have a natural talent for pressing hot buttons in a variety of contexts!

Some other questions that uncover their values are:

Being able to identify what someone values at work (or in any other context) can provide you with a very powerful way to motivate them by relating what you are discussing, or what you want to achieve, to their hot buttons.

People usually get very engaged when you start to discuss what is most vital to them. It is then simpler to explore how you can help them achieve more of what they want and avoid what they don’t want. This in turn starts to touch on the purpose of your relationship and you can start to discuss or agree a mutually beneficial purpose.

Once the real purpose of a relationship is clear it becomes possible to challenge, explore and help one another grow. In a working context it can mean the difference between having a fractious or hard relationship and one that may not necessarily be simple, but respectful and genuinely helpful.

On a personal level if there is an upset in a relationship it is just a signal that there is a misalignment of values. By clarifying expectations and what is vital to you (and them) it can take a lot of heat out of the situation and enable deeper understanding, empathy and the removal of unhelpful judgments.

Dragon boat festival commemorates of QuYuan who was a fantastic poet in China’s earliest time, and took his own life in the Miluojiang on that day. Mid-autumn FestivalThe occasion falls on the 15th of the 8th lunar month. It is also known as the “Moon festival”. This is a traditional festival in China and when the day coming people will busy preparing moon cakes which are round and look like the bright moon and fruits, and at night, by custom, family member will stay out of doors together to delight in the bright moonlight while eat tasty moon cakes and fruits. It is also a romance day for the lovers. The festival was given a mythological flavor with legends of Chang E, the gorgeous lady in the moon and her lovely rabbit.

Teacher’s DaySeptember 10th is a national teachers’ festival in China. This is a day not only for the students to express their respect to the contributions of their teachers but also for the society to form a social climate to respect the teachers’ valued knowledge.

Double-ninth Day”Chong Yang Festival” is also called by people on Double-ninth Day, of cause, it is celebrate on the September 9th of the lunar month in China.

National DayThis is a public holiday for Chinese in celebrating the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It is falls on Oct. 1st each year and the National Day parade will be held on that day.

When you reckon of Rio in February you reckon of the Carnival which is really right. The second month of the year is marked by one of the largest parties in the entire world: the Carnival. The pre-carnival events start on February 12th through the 16th. The closing event will be on the 20th – the Saturday of Champions with the parade on Passarela do Samba of the winning samba schools, a show of unique beauty. Besides that, the awarding of the three best bandstands will bring joy and fun to the city’s districts.

The opening ceremony will be opened by the mayor of Rio de Janeiro who will symbolically hand over the keys of the city of King Momo meaning the Carnival festivities are ready to start. The first event will be organized by the Junior Samba School Parade at Passarela do Samba Professor Darcy Ribeiro – Sambódromo from 5pm. The second event is the Cinelandia Ball organized at raça Floriano – Cinelândia Downtown. This is the traditional meeting place for Carnival participants and was founded back in 1990 and ever since has been the place for the largest street parties, capable of gathering more than 60,000 people every year.

The Copa Ball is a very sumptuous event hosted at Copacabana Palace Hotel – Av. Atlântica, 1. 702 – Copacabana and is exclusively for rich people. The Large Sailboats Rio 2010 – South America Sails 2010 will have the following program:

- Barra da Tijuca (close to Av. Ayrton Senna) – 10:00 am – Ponta da Joatinga – 12:00 pm – Leblon (close to Av. Bartolomeu Mitre) – 01:00 pm – Forte de Copacabana – 01:30 pm – Pontal do Leme – 02:30 pm – Escola Naval – 03:00 pm – Píer Mauá – 03:30 pm

The event is only a small part of the celebrations for the two hundred years of the creation of the First National Government Boards. On February 7, the city of Rio de Janeiro shall be the starting point of an International Boat Race. The Rio Music Conference will be held at Marina da Glória – Av. Infante Dom Henrique s/nº – Aterro do Flamengo and this it will reach the second edition. It brings closer the music industry fans, especially fans of electronic music. There will be talks, business fairs, workshops and many more. The Motorcross Freestyle Brazil Cup gathers the best Brazilian and international motorcyclists in this years’ fourth edition. This is one of the most exciting events that does not take part in the actual Carnival program.

Our last reviewed event from the first part of the two articles is the Taking Of Monte Castelo, La Serra And Montese which is held at the National Monument in order to commemorate the World War II heroes and Brazil’s Unknown Soldier. The venue for the event is Monumento Nacional aos Mortos da Segunda Guerra Mundial – Av. Infante Dom Henrique – Parque Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes – Aterro do Flamengo.

In this second part of our article we will continue describing the other 5 cars remaining, cars that many people consider being some of the most gorgeous cars ever manufactured. We will start with a car that became well-known after appearing in the blockbuster movie “Gone in 60 Seconds” – the car is a 1967 Shelby Mustang Eleanor GT 500.

This car was a huge hit after it was released and approximately 35 years later, with the help of the movie it regained the much deserved attention. The car in the movie was a modified version of the 1967 GT 500 and featured extensive external body upgrades. For this increasing popularity, Ford chose to manufacture the GT-500E which was sold very quick. Eleanor – the name of the car in the movie, is still very well loved nowadays in the United States where many workshops are offering basically identical cars with even more power than the original Eleanor had.

A list with gorgeous cars would not be complete without a Ferrari, in this case the Dino. The name “Dino” honors Dino (Alfredo) Ferrari, the son of Enzo Ferrari, who suggested his father developed a V6 racing engine for Formula 2 in the early 1960s. Unfortunately, he died before the car was ready but Enzo, in the honor of his son, place the capable V6 engine into a mid-engine sports car and called it “Dino”. Just like all of the most gorgeous Ferraris, this model was designed by Pininfarina. The chief designer, Leonardo Fioravanti, gave the car a very sex and low shoulder body, very different from previous Ferraris. Many consider this model to be the most gorgeous Ferrari ever produced.

Our favorite car is the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Coupe which is a 2-seat, closed sports car that has unique (for its time) gull-wing or butterfly doors which when they are opened, the car looks like a bird that it is stretching its wings. Although not very comfortable or practical, the SL Coupe has a unique and distinctive appearance and at least for this article, beauty comes first.

Roll Royce is featured in this article with the Phantom model. The aluminum space frame used for this model is the largest of its kind ever built for automotive use. Every line of the car’s massive appearance, shouts out elegance and power at the same time.

Our last reviewed car is a British model, to be more exact, the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato which appeared back in the 60s but was manufactured only for two years. In these two years, only 19 cars were produced, all of them are in perfect shape nowadays thanks to the Aston Martin enthusiasts who own them. The car was basically a DB4 GT which was improved by the Zagato factory, by Ercole Spada. The Aston Martin manufacturer desired a series of DB4 GT’s that would be lighter and more competitive racing against the rival Ferrari 250 GT’s. In 1960 it contracted Zagato to build bodies for 19 chassis. What they have come up with is the most desirable Aston Martin ever – gorgeous but very aggressive at the same time, a combination that not many cars have. This very car marked one of the most memorable chapters in the long Aston Martin history.

For years, this would frustrate me to no end. I believed just as much as the next guy. I confessed and spoke the Word over my finances, if not, more than the next guy. And gave above and beyond the norm. So where is the wealth I kept hearing about?

Look, dont get me incorrect, the preachers are not in error in what they say. They do speak truth (as long as they are teaching out of Gods inspired word and not theirs), but they can only go so far in teaching about wealth in the spiritual sense. They can only go so far to teach about

So, what happens is, theyll talk about raising your faith to believe for a raise at your job, (that usually amounts to an extra $. 50 an hour), or a new job or a surprise check in the mail, which is all fantastic but its not going to give you abundant riches and wealth.

In order to receive that type of wealth, you need to find a way to get it creatively without jeopardizing your faith. Its not the preachers job to go into all the different ways to gain wealth and ways to get out of debt. Their job is to preach the Excellent News and reach a hurting and dying world.

Thats where I come in and take over from there. I believe its up to us, who are believers, to find the how to gain the wealth of the world, so were not subjected to the world. As I mention earlier, the world system is designed to oppress the people, believers and non-believers alike.

Do remember when Jesus said,

To me, this verse tells me you have to know the world and its ways, in order to comply and get things done for your gain, but to do it cleverly and innocently, as to not be disdain against your faith.

In this article, I’ll be posting my proven formula for making a killer Pilot Jobs Resume. When I helped my friends find their Dream Pilot Jobs, we started by fixing their resumes, which were full of common mistakes that get copied around from one to another. So, today I’m going to give you the most cutting edge information available on making a Dream Pilot Jobs Resume, so we can make sure yours is completely flawless before we proceed with your pilot job search.

You may reckon your pilot resume already is flawless, and I sincerely hope you’re right. But I can guarantee that this article is packed with the most comprehensive and complete information available on the subject, not only gathered from industry experts, but also from my personal conversations with the same chief pilots that might be looking for you.

There are a lot of misconceptions about what a pilot resume should be. And there are a lot of conflicting opinions on the web of what it should and shouldn’t include. Some of them are spot on, but I reckon some of them must be made by non-pilots who don’t really “get it” from the aviation standpoint, so I’m going to set the record straight here and tell you what personally worked for me.

The font is either Times New Roman or Aerial and the font sizes are larger or capitalized where needed to emphasize a section or header, and not to small anywhere (less than 10 points) and when glanced at from arms length, the whole resume looks simple and simple to skim through for the facts. I have personally watched pilot’s resumes go directly from envelope to trash can because it looked “too busy” and Chief Pilot didn’t have a minutes to read the thing. In fact, he only needs about 10 seconds. It is incredible how quick someone can dismiss you, but like they say, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

This brings us to the Huge Mistake, that a pilot jobs resume should be similar to any other professional’s resume. It is amusing, I was looking at my friend’s corporate flight attendant resume today for comparison and I couldn’t believe it. It is like the name of the game is “how much can you inflate and embellish yourself in order to fill the entire page!”

For instance, she worked as a Beer Tub Girl one Bike Week in Daytona and from reading the description, you’d reckon she had performed a miraculous bikini clad feat of biker thirst quenching wonder! She had it professionally prepared and it was incredible. Even had her Glamour shot and everything. Anyway, your pilot jobs resume should have none of that fluff. Just the Facts, Man! Reckon minimal. Simple.

The header is pretty standard, full name like on your passport, address, phone number, and email. Your name should have the largest font but only by one or two levels. Use your middle initial if you have one. Don’t write the word “resume” anywhere. Here’s a really counter-intuitive tip brought to you by my friend Chuck, a fantastic pilot I had the pleasure of flying around the South Pacific with. I never would have thought of it but he said he always throws certain resumes away all the time:

Don’t write “Captain” in from of your name, even if you served 30 years on the Concorde. The guy reading your resume is possibly the (only) Captain, do you want him to reckon you’re after his job? The address should be your physical, where you are living and receive mail because some of your responses will come via a company letter from the flight department. Also, the prospective employer might want to know how close you are in the event they need to glide you in for an interview or question you to go.

Make sure your phone number is your cell that you’ll be able to answer all day and that it has a pleasant, professional sounding voice mail greeting in case you’re unavailable. Also use a professional looking email address with your name, not your . ” I highly recommend opening a Gmail account just for your job search because of it’s fantastic format and access to the wealth of fantastic applications, like GoogleDocs and the calendar you’ll be using.

Therefore, no matter how small the transaction, even the selling of a stick of candy, place into it the thought of increase into the mind of the customer. Hold the unshakable faith in yourself, that you are in the way of increase and let it permeate every action. Don’t boast of your success or seek power over other men. Beware the competitive mind! What you want for you, you must want for everybody.

The Advancing Man

THE ADVANCING MAN is one who holds a clear vision of himself as successful in his field, who obeys the laws of faith and purpose, and gratitude. No matter whether you’re a wage-earner or a businessman; whether you’re a doctor, teacher, clergyman etc. , you will attract a large loyal following and never be “out of a job”! The man who is certain to advance is one who knows what he wants and can become. Do not try to fill more of your present place with a view to pleasing your employer; rather, do it with the thought of advancing yourself. When an opportunity to be more than you are now is presented and you feel impelled towards it, take it. It will be the first step toward a greater opportunity. There is no such thing in the universe as a lack of opportunity for the man who is living the advancing life.

Some cautions and concluding observations – There is no limited supply of wealth. Governments keep the masses in poverty only because the masses allow this to happen by not thinking and acting in a Certain Way. If the masses were to go forward as suggested in this book; all systems would have to modify to accommodate this forward movement. The more men get rich on the competitive plane, the worse for others. Also, don’t spend any time worrying about how you will meet possible emergencies. Concern your mind with doing today’s work in a perfectly successful manner. No possible combination of circumstance can defeat a man or woman who is proceeding to get rich in the Certain Way.

Guard Your Speech

Guard your speech. Never speak of yourself, your affairs, or of anything else in a discouraged or discouraging way. Never admit the possibility of failure. Never speak of times as being hard, or of business conditions as being doubtful. When you operate on the creative plane, you can make what you want. When others are having hard times and poor business, you will find your greatest opportunities. Train yourself to reckon of and look upon the world as something which is becoming, growing. Never allow yourself to be disappointed. If you do not receive the thing you want, go on in the Certain Way, and you will receive something so much better. You will see that the seeming failure was really a fantastic success. When you make a “failure”, it is because you have not questioned for enough! Do not hesitate or waver with dread, go on in full faith.

While you are getting firmly established in this faith, you will do well to give up recreations and pleasure; and to stay away from places that conflict with the thoughts in this book. Don’t read or listen to pessimistic or conflicting thoughts. Spend most of your leisure time contemplating your vision, and in cultivating gratitude, and in reading this book.

The riches you will receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of your vision, the fixity of your purpose, the steadiness of your faith, and the depth of your gratitude.

The Science of Getting Rich may be a hundred years ancient but Wattles’ thoughts are as relevant today as they ever were. In a previous article I outlined 5 of the 10 most common bodybuilding mistakes, so here are the next 5.

6/ Exercising too long

Try to keep your workouts under the hour. If you’re currently going way over the hour it could be because you’re doing too many exercises, or maybe your rest periods between sets is too long.

As mentioned in part 1, if you’ve got more than 6 movements in your workout routine, reckon about cutting down on volume. When you’re pruning your routine always remove isolation exercises first. If you have favourite exercises where you can really go a lot of weight, then hang onto those. Be reluctant to cut out movements like the dead lift, squat or bench press, these are your major muscle builders.

Vital side note on volume – just imagine if your training consisted of one day doing the squat or dead lift only and one day doing just the bench press. I’d be willing to bet nobody reading this will try it, but if you did just those two movements for several months, building the weights up as you go, you’d really transform your body.

7/ Not doing cardio work

Some folks shy away from cardio thinking it will cause overtraining, but this is really a myth. It’s an ancient cliché, but the most vital muscle in your body is your heart. And cardio exercise is a fantastic way to keep the ancient ticker in shape.

The other benefit of cardio exercise is that it makes the body more efficient at eliminating waste products, ie lactic acid, so doing cardio will help you to recover more quickly after the weight workout, and muscle soreness will go away sooner.

What type of cardio? Well it should be something that holds your interest, so that you stick at it. It should also not be terrible for the joints, which is why I don’t recommend running. I favour a cross trainer, with an MP3 player so you can listen to Mozart, Metallica or whatever your choice is.

7/ Not resting properly

Ideally aim to get eight hours sleep a night. This may not always be possible, but at least aim for it. Rest is when your muscles recover and grow, and if you’re training hard but not seeing much in the way of results, something as simple as adding half an hours sleep a night may be the x factor you’ve been missing.

8/ Not eating enough

Most would be bodybuilders don’t eat nearly enough quality food. Aim to get 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. It’s worth finding a way of tracking your body stout percentage, in case it starts to go up too high. Try to eat 5 or better still 6 small meals a day, which is a lot less trying on the gut than 3 huge feasts.

Invest in a decent calorie counter and build your calories up gradually so your body gets used to the extra food.

9/ Not cycling routines

A weight training cycle is simply the number of weeks you’re doing your weight training routine. You may plot to workout for a certain number of weeks, for example 10, 12 or whatever. Each week you try and increase the weights you lift. In theory you keep doing this until you get to your limit where you can’t lift any more weight, or until you reach a target poundage in one or more exercises.

Then you have say one week off, then start another cycle of weight training, where you start with lighter weights and gradually build up again. In an ideal world, at the end of each cycle you end up at new personal best levels in your lifts.

The point is that most of us cannot just lift heavier week after week after week. If you find you can lift more each week for say a whole year then excellent luck and go to it. Most of us find that shorter cycles work better. Splitting the year up this way helps keep enthusiasm levels up, because there will be days where you get home from the daily drudge and you just don’t feel like hitting the weights.

10/ Thinking too much

A lot of amateur weight trainers get bogged down in too much theory, mostly I reckon from the terrible advice from the mainstream magazines.

Stick to compound movements

Perform them with immaculate form

Build the weights up

No more than three workouts per week, better still two.

Use this formula and watch your body respond!

If you have read part 1 of this article called “The Science of Getting Rich – How Anyone Become Rich – Part 1″ then you will already have learned that everybody has the right to be rich; that we must get rich in order that we can increase life and live more. We can do so by doing things in a certain way. Here in Part 2 we explore this concept further. According the Wattles, you must be thinking in the Certain Way. By that he means having a clear and certain picture continually in your mind; the unshakable purpose and unwavering Faith that the thing you desire is already yours will bring it about.

To set about getting rich you must learn how to use the wall upon yourself. It’s vital not to force others to do what you wish done. When you have the picture of your desire strong in your mind all things in the universe are stirred toward bringing what you want into being. There is no room for doubt or unbelief. You must guard your thoughts from poverty if you want to become rich. The poor cannot be helped through charity alone; they need inspiration. Getting rich is, according to Wattles, the best way of helping the poor.

Creation NOT Competition

Further use of the wall – you cannot attain wealth if you hold opposing images of poverty and wealth in your mind. So, there’s no point talking about past financial disasters if you want to focus on getting rich. Reckon of yourself as becoming rich, instead of growing out of poverty. Be creative, rather than competitive and you will attain riches.

It’s not enough to rely on thoughts alone. You must also be acting in the certain way so that you can take what is yours when it comes to you. By thought, the thing you want is bought to you; by action you receive it. Hold onto the vision of what you want and act now upon the people and things in your present environment. Place your whole mind into the present action. You cannot act in the past or indeed in the future as it hasn’t arrived yet.

You cannot foresee the results of even the most trivial act. Therefore, do every day all that can be done. This is what Wattles calls efficient action. But, don’t overwork or rush blindly into your business. It’s not the number of things you do, but the efficiency of each action that counts. If you spend your life doing each act efficiently, and putting power into it, you cannot fail. Your whole life will be a success and you will become rich. Use your leisure hours to use your imagination and develop your mind, focusing on developing the details of your vision.

Getting into the Right Business

You can become successful in any business if you have the right faculties and skills. These are your tools. But, it will be simpler to succeed by getting into the right business and using these tools in the right way. It is best to select the business for which you have the best developed talent and ideally one which you have a strong desire for. Desire brings power. This will result in your getting rich more easily and also with the most satisfaction. You may have to spend time doing what you do not like in order that you make it possible to do what you want. The best way, generally, to change business or environment is through growth. Although, be ready to make a sudden change if the right opportunity is presented. Being creative rather than competitive will mean you’ll never have to act hastily. If one space is taken, another one will open for you a small farther on. When in doubt, wait; contemplate your vision and cultivate gratitude. This will bring your mind into such close relationship with what Wattles calls, the Supreme, that you will make no mistake when you do act. Wallace D. Wattles, in his 1910 book The Science of Getting Rich, details how you can get rich but his reasons for doing so are much more than the simple attainment of money and wealth. Prosperity – but you define it – is a timeless desire. According to Wattles, getting rich has a very vital premise: He asserts that the desire for wealth is not specifically or solely centered on money but rather it is a measurable way of expressing our desire for a fuller, better, more meaningful life.

The Right to Be Rich

According to Wattles each of us has the right to be rich. He asserts that it simply isn’t possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich. To develop talent and unfold the soul requires the use of many things which require money to buy. Of course, there is a science of getting rich and it is an exact science and has nothing to do with your environment or the possession of talent. Getting rich is the result of doing things in a Certain Way that causes success.

There is abundance of opportunity everywhere for the man who will go with the tide; instead of trying to swim against it. Wattles rightly points out that everyone has the potential for success by searching for and embracing the opportunities available to them. Man has the power of thought to cause the formation of things and cause tangible results. To do things in a Certain Way, you have to buy the ability to reckon the way you want to reckon. In other words, having the right mindset is the first step toward getting rich.

Increasing Life

You are neither destined to be poor nor rich. Life’s purpose is increasing life so we must get rich, so that we can live more. We must become creators rather than competing for what is already made. Supply is unlimited according to Wattles. So never allow yourself reckon for an instant that all the best building spots will be taken before you’re ready to build your house, unless you rush!

How riches come to you is if your business transactions operate on the basis of honest exchange i. e. you give the buyer something of greater use value than the cash value you take. In addition, we must question largely for what we want, have a clear picture in our mind and claim it as if it were already ours. In other words, we must dream huge, see it clearly and behave as if we have already achieved the thing we desire in order for it to be. This is possibly the most powerful concept in the book and is explored in other books such as The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and Reckon and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill.

A mental attitude of gratitude can be the one thing missing from people who live their lives rightly in all other. This lack of gratitude keeps them in poverty. Gratitude will ensure your thinking is that of supply as unlimited. Faith is born of gratitude. The grateful mind expects excellent things, and expectation becomes faith. It’s excellent to cultivate the habit of gratefulness and give thanks continuously. It can be a excellent thought to keep a gratitude diary on your bedside table and writing 3 things daily that you are grateful for. This will bring you into harmonious relations with the excellent in everything, and the excellent in everything will go toward you.

Interior designers today are highly-qualified multitasking professionals . . . it’s not just about pretty fabrics and gorgeous furniture any more – design professionals need to know flooring, structures, plumbing constraints, heating systems, security features, electrical outlets and much more besides. One of the most vital parts of an interior designer’s job is lighting, and this can one of the most technically challenging and complex elements of the profession. In this four-part collection of articles which I call “Notes from a London Interior Designer,” I draw on my substantial experience from working alongside some of London’s most celebrated interior designers to reveal the secrets of this fascinating field.

Water brings texture, sound and magic to an exterior space – even the most plain dripping garden tap has certain design aesthetics – but interior designers know that only light can truly bring water into its own. London’s top designers will use a variety of vessels or modern contraptions to contain and channel water, many with links to history. For example, the Upper Lodge Water Gardens of Bushy Park, near Hampton Court and not far from Central London, were originally commissioned in 1710. The Earl of Halifax was no interior designer, but he did appreciate fabulous pools, cascades, basins and canals – all of which were featured prominently in the Water Gardens. Of course, some of us live in rather more modest London dwellings today, but even if you only have a small garden, an interior designer can help you make gorgeous tumbling chutes or conduits, textured to glint in the morning sunshine and to perfectly project the noise of moving water.

Gardens like those of Bushy Park are perfect sources of inspiration for interior designers. Novel structures and accessories let us go and channel water in so many different ways, whether in formal shapes or as random, flowing chaotic forms. Top interior designers may recommend structures that cause water to race across pebbles or stones, shimmering with texture in the sunshine. Some London Interior Designers specialise in introducing water into urban garden spaces, where its reflective, expressive quality can refreshingly balance the overwhelming closed hems of tall concrete or vertical brick surrounds. The delightful sound of tinkling water can also quickly dampen out the sounds of cars and lorries in your neighbourhood.

In Part 1 of this mini-series, we look for ways to overcome “Writer’s Block, and Google may be vital for the generation of inspiration. In Part 2, we explored ways to refine and improve your search by adding additional keywords and phrases. In Part 3, we found many web platforms, we can find thoughts and inspiration.

In this final installment, I want to present some different approaches you can take to turn “thoughts” to “content”, if a video script, a section of a blog or podcast. This list is not exhaustive, but it should get you going!

1. The P-E-S formula.

Identify a problem in your niche, and provide a solution which is preferably associated with a product or a membership, you are promoting.

Let me give you an example from my own experience. We have a software company marketing ContentBuzz. com, and many of our clients have been in contact with our support similar requests for advice on making content.

Recognized the benefits of video content and marketing, but did not really know where to start. This led to the creation of “The Content Factory of Thoughts”, a simple but effective solution to your problem, it helps them make better use of our software products for content delivery.

This content type is often called the PES formula i. e. • Problem – Define the problem that the reader knows. • Exaggeration – then exaggerate or shake (which makes it look worse than it is). • Solution – then the solution (a subtle hint how your product can help your point of view).

This method allows scripts very effective promotional video.

2. Procedures to phenomena.

I reckon the quality of “proceedings” of content, especially video, is destined to become the # 1 format for better search engine listings for years to come.

With increasing speed broadband, Google and other search engines are delivering more and more videos in its search results pages, and Google knows that this is exactly the type of content their customers.

If you can make scripts, well, well produced videos that give real answers to real questions, your success is guaranteed!

3. The Tips and Tricks tactics.

Another type of content that is consistently the first page of search engines can be classified as “Tips and Tricks”, the younger brother of “How”.

Take one of the elements of a problem and focus on the solution. These can be small, quick video blogs that can give an thought of their personal knowledge, and help raise a “expert” status within their niche.

These videos must be between 1 and 2 minutes. If you take the time to learn more about “optimizing” the content for search engines, you will reap the rewards. These are my three suggestions for making your “thoughts in the content” and “actual content”! Try to be as fresh and original as possible with your work.

Although research to keep these words the thoughts at the forefront of his mind: Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? Make your own statements, made and start to build relationships with potential customers.

My final tip – make a folder in which you can store thoughts as they hit you, and integrate them into a personal resource of “jewels” of content available for future marketing campaigns and video content. Ban “Writer’s Block” Forever!

Despite the excellent quality the circuit possesses such as; an enjoyable soft surface, the stage itself is not a well loved one between the teams. Ferrari’s driver Kimi Raikkonen mentioned he thinks it won’t be missed, the track is in a rural area in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by cows grazing in the close by fields without hotels and hard access. Another not very positive aspect is the scarce viewers present during practices and races mainly to the non presence of French drivers. On the other hand, it is significant for teams like Renault to have a race in their home land – France.

Since 1991 Magny-Cours has hosted the race in France, then some years later in 2004 the race nearly disappeared due to poor funding. Last March the French Federation (FFSA) stated this place will not be included in the 2008 Grand Prix Calendar.

Many would certainly like to find a better location and there is a “dream” of hosting the event in Paris, perhaps Euro Disney as a possible site or somewhere close to the Charles de Gaulle airport but none of these options are possible in a small term.

The place where Formula One had its first steps, might not host the event next year since 1955, but the team expects to have it soon in their calendar.

This is the second chapter in the tale of Gary and his psycho bipolar girlfriend, Melinda. You can read the first part of their tale in my article titled Self Sabotage: The Emotional Rollercoaster. That article clarified what motivates Gary to date an insane person, while this second article documents the disaster that became of his life because he stayed with her. So for all of you who emailed me asking what happened with Gary and Melinda, delight in. I remember the first time I met Melinda and realized that there was something very incorrect with this girl. I remember Gary shrugging his shoulders and telling me that she was “on medication for being psychologically unstable. ” I also remember the first time I told Gary that if he didn’t get rid of Melinda, only terrible things could happen as a result of keeping her around. By the time one of her mood swings resulted in the police coming, I thought to myself that surely Gary would realize that he had to get rid of her – but to my amazement they were back together later that night. After that, I took it upon myself one evening to place a beer in Gary’s hand and have a bit of a sit-down conversation with him. I told him that if he did not get rid of his girlfriend, something was going to happen that would be irreversible. I clarified to him that if he did not get away now, the day would come when he would not be able to get away, and that’s where our tale picks back up with these two, the point of no return. . . One of the benefits of dating a crazy girl is that the crazier they are, the better they are in bed. This was something that Gary not only knew, but loved quite frequently. The largest problem with Gary’s enjoyment of this was that Gary loved it without the use of a condom. Not smart. Melinda’s thought of birth control was abortion, and she had already had five of them with Gary. What had not occurred to him was: what would result if the day came that she got pregnant and chose not to have an abortion?The day finally came when Gary chose he had had enough of Melinda. He told her they were finished, and he was serious about it. What Gary did not know but, was that by the time he told her this, she was pregnant again. So what did Melinda choose to do to keep Gary in her life? Simple answer, don’t have another abortion. Having his child would guarantee that he was in her life permanently. Gary having a child with Melinda would also guarantee that his child would turn out just as crazy as she is. The surprises that Gary had not considered just kept on getting better. So what happened over the next nine months? Fascinating things: I’ll give you the highlights. Melinda, crazy as ever, and now with the added bonus of the out of control emotions that pregnant women have, ruined a perfectly excellent frying pan over Gary’s head. I say ruined because afterwards, it was so dented that it was unusable. Gary got lucky with that, no permanent brain hurt (although considering the decisions this guy makes in life, I question whether his brain ever did work correctly). When the police got there they arrested Melinda and took her away in handcuffs, but when it came time for Gary to testify in court, he didn’t for the sake of his unborn child. And while all of this was happening, he was having sex with another girl, Ayesha. You’ll remember that I said Gary doesn’t like having sex with condoms. You guessed it, Ayesha gets pregnant also. Ayesha’s boyfriend was very upset when he got out of prison and found out about all this. So this leaves Gary with a two-week-ancient son, another baby on the way from a different girl, and a guy who just got out of prison looking for him. My advice to Gary was to sue for custody of his son, sever ties with Melinda, and learn how to use a condom. Gary answers by telling me, “Well at least things can’t get any worse. ” He was incorrect about this also. After having their son, Melinda assures Gary that she has had a birth control implant place in, and they continue to have unprotected sex. Within weeks, Melinda tells Gary that she is pregnant again. At three months pregnant Melinda and Gary go to see a doctor for prenatal care. The doctor looks up at Gary and assures him that his girlfriend is doing fine for being six weeks pregnant. Gary looks at the doctor and says, you mean three months pregnant right? The doctor assures Gary that he knows what he’s talking about, and no, in fact Melinda is six weeks pregnant. Melinda’s tale is that she had a miscarriage, didn’t even know it was a miscarriage, and must have become pregnant again six weeks ago. This is the type of insanity that you just can’t make up, or believe really happened, either. Now let’s discuss what this has done to Gary financially. With the new baby in the house, formula to buy, and the never ending supply of diapers needed, Gary found himself frequently small on cash. His solution was to continuously get car title loans to make ends meet. This worked for a while until the day that he could not make the high interest payments and they took his car. So how does Gary get to work every day? Melinda drives him every morning and picks him up every evening spending the whole time nagging him about how he needs to figure out how to buy a car. The irony is that Melinda isn’t working either. She is on unemployment and disability. It’s hilarious to me to know that a leech of the system like Melinda continuously nags Gary about not making enough money. The moral to the tale is to be careful who you surround yourself with, and always, always use a condom! Gary called me the other day and my advice was a murder-suicide. He wasn’t sure if I was kidding or not, and neither was I.
