Brown, Mary Calhoun. There are no words. Lucky Press. 2010

Midwest Book Review From

The future is scary, it’s a future that does not change. “No Words” tells the tale of a young mute girl who is one voice, but he sent a few decades ago. With the knowledge of a train accident that will kill one of the friends his grandfather, MacKenzie Jaxon is in a time before the accident. But a young girl of twelve can not do much to stop a train of government … Can he? “No Words” is a charming tale of determination and friendship, highly recommended.

Feather Pen: 5 stars

No words narrated by Jaxon, a 12 year ancient girl with autism who lives with her grandparents. Although it shares with the reader who can not speak and describe their reactions intense sound and touch, this is not really a book about autism. It is an adventure whose hero happens to be autistic.

Jaxon also proves to be a strong girl, quick thinking with a crush on a black child and a friend who, in 1918, enjoys a boys’ pants and shoes under their robes. Author Marie Calhoun Brown challenges many stereotypes. Teachers and parents looking for a book with strong female characters or sweet, nurturing men find them here. The book also raises awareness of autism, without presenting a problem to overcome. In fact, the main problem from the point of view Jaxon is that people do not know autism and treat it as it is stupid or, to use his word, unworthy.

We see the world through the eyes of someone who is extremely sensitive to touch and sound. Jaxon also pays attention to details and colors. Overview of the world around them, feeling the carpet, the sounds of rain are silent and poetic. Jaxon, who has difficulty communicating with others, including his own mother is still able to paint gorgeous pictures for us the world as he sees it.

When Jaxon is magically transported into a table and in time she discovers she can speak. In fact, it seems not to have communication problems whatsoever and to be exceptionally excellent at recognizing the feelings of others. In Tennessee, in 1918, autism Jaxon is not a problem, but soon discovers that racism, a problem that she was unaware of his adventure before time travel is enormous.

There are no words is a quick read of the depth of the characters sympathetic. The relationships between the characters are sweet, yet very real. Readers will be inspired by the patience of grandparents Jaxon and the kindness of his friends.

From Booklist:

* Consideration favorites like fried Rita Williams-Garcia (2009), this tale follows three children through the pressure cooker of downtown teen life as it progresses towards its conclusion overwhelming. Considering that the book of humiliation and mined under exaggerated dramas that swirl in a single day of class, which has a much more diffuse. The three characters could not be more different: Tamika Sykes is a partially deaf student nervous to know if she really wants to hear all the noises around him, wait Fatima is a refugee 16 years who have fled violence and poverty its unspecified African countries live in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty, and depending on who you question, Jimmy Six and a troubled veteran of 18 years, is either a poet or a street junkie. The three form a friendship unusual, which connects both artistically and emotionally. All this takes place in a city that has become a powder keg of anti-immigrant sentiment (Thanks to recent legislation that rewards people for reporting illegal aliens) and is dangerously close to the ever-present spark gang violence . Griffin knows adolescents, especially the way they talk. In the hands of another writer, this tale of three marginalized may have given rise to an affective disorder, but it maintains the depth of emotion that the alienation of real battle, the characters and find strength in sacrifice. Although readers will be ready for a trip disturbing the opening scene, but he was knocked down by some of the fastest laps in this book, tight and powerful. Grades 10-12. Chipman lan

Chapter 1: Introduction

In the brief I will try to show how young Muslims are radicalized by Islam and, finally, be part of terrorist organizations. First, it focuses on the work of Albert Cohen in the criminal subculture, I’ll see how young men are part of a group of criminals. Is the working class who are frustrated with the company, who feel inferior to the middle class and feel they must reject society and make your own set of rules, values and standards. But, even the children of the middle classes who feel isolated by their position in society, frustrated by the fact that their parents set high standards and without giving them freedom, but eventually become criminals. Then concentrate on the work of Ian Buruma, who wrote “Murder in Amsterdam” and look what that led to murder Mohammed Bouyeri Theo Van Gogh. What Bouyeri commit a crime? Was it the corporation rejected it, made him feel inferior, he was jealous of Western culture, and turned to Islam for answers. Mohammed Bouyeri frustrations are similar to the frustrations of young offenders in the work of Cohen. , I will refer to the radical loser and inadequate sexual and whether these factors can cause young Muslims to become Islamic extremists. For this reason, then consider the responses as possible, there’s fight against Islamic terrorism and, finally, offer a conclusion on the subject.

Introducing the item, why the West despised by the Middle East? Why young Muslims to join militant Islamic groups to commit murder? What can you offer to these extremist groups of young men? Are they frustrated by the company and the feeling of having his revenge on the infidels? Where is the future for other young Muslims? What are the responses to Islamic terrorism? These questions will be answered and we hope to shed light on this hard area.

Before discussing these vital issues just mentioned, it is vital to first examine how delinquent subcultures was performed first and principal theorist around this area was Albert Cohen, who wrote “delinquent children. ”

Offenders Chapter 2: Cohen’s work on youth subcultures

When we see a group of young people and be immediately returned to mark even though it may have done nothing incorrect, are seen as devious, malicious and non-utilitarian. When you reckon of these groups thought that these people steal things because they want to. They want to eat, wear or use, or perhaps because they can not sell stolen goods. These explanations assume that the possession of something is an object of value, and rational choice was to steal the target. But, in most cases of theft in criminal gangs, not because they want the precious, but what motivates them is the flight itself. Stealing something just for a given peak power and satisfaction in general may have stolen no use for them and it will never be ruined, removed or given (Cohen 1955 p25-26).

In this regard, that the flight was conducted to the satisfaction we can say Islamic extremists and that the bombing of a building is not to motivate them, because they want to do, because they can given the power the same way a gang of criminals who steal worthless.

“Undoubtedly, the majority of criminals come from the most disadvantaged and in fact many things were stolen because they have intrinsic value. But, a relationship of compassion of the man of their disability should not economy blinds us to the fact that theft is not just an alternative to buying items otherwise hard to reach “(Cohen 1955 p26).

You can glide then be a form of reaction? Why glide attract still glide? Rob status offenders in a youth group, the reconnaissance flight gives gives them a goal, it makes them feel they are excellent at something and with members of a group that avoids isolation. If time flies is not motivated by rational considerations, utility, and then the flight is an activity of pleasure and fun to find these groups and a challenge to challenge taboos. All that matters is that the tape is a laugh “excellent” (Cohen 1955 p27).

“The criminal subculture has its rule of the greater culture, but it is reversed. The behavior of the offender’s right, by the standards of their subculture, precisely because it is terrible by the standards of high culture.

“Another feature of the criminal subculture of hedonism is small term, there is small interest in the long-term business plotting and time estimates, or activities in connection with knowledge and skills bought only through practice, reflection and study, group members usually congregate, no specific activities in mind, in some corner of the street, the candy store or regular appointment. In over the small term hedonism is not only characteristic of criminal groups. It is common in all social classes who are generally offenders “(Cohen 1955 p28-30).

“A theory that could clarify why young men become criminals, is the theory of cultural conflict. The areas of high mobility and diversified composition of cultural unity is lacking. The populations of ethnic and racial diversity have different and incompatible rules and codes, standards and codes, in turn, are consistent with those schools and other official representatives of society in general. In this welter of conflicting cultures, the young man is confused and harassed. the adult world is presented without clear patterns and authoritative. Subject to a multitude of reasons for conflict, which respects no one, not assimilated. It takes place without any respect for the law, because it represents a culture that finds no support in their social world. It becomes delinquent “(Cohen 1955 P33-34).

Another theory that it should be noted in relation to juvenile delinquency is “anomie”, in egalitarian societies like America, the establishment of cultural objectives as an example for the world to achieve the success that money, everyone in America can live the American dream, but, people who can not achieve these objectives have feelings of frustration with the society in which they are, and must find other ways to improve your health and performance, crime and deviance may be an answer. This theory offers plausible explanations for crimes against property and some thieves young and ancient semi-professional, but, does not take into account the non-utilitarian quality of the sub-culture has been mentioned above. The offender in this theory is the respect for property that you bought, while delinquent subculture not care about material things, so this theory has no relevance in terms of criminal subculture (Cohen 1955 p35-36) .

Who are the members of criminal subcultures? Are they trained mainly in the kind of work they know nothing other than to commit acts of crime or are educated middle class who feel constantly frustrated by rules and laws should be respected?

Cohen (1955 p37-38) said: “Juvenile delinquency and criminal subculture in particular, are mainly concentrated in the men’s work, most of the statistical analysis of juvenile delinquency agree that crime in general is mainly working class phenomenon. It is logically conceivable, but, that the correlation between juvenile delinquency and social class is a statistical artifact produced through the police and courts. All children, regardless of social class in crime. ”

parents of the middle class are more likely to worry about the accomplishments and let the child know. The child must live up to the expectations of their parents and were not disappointed. His life may be dominated by parents, which will be surrounded by books and educational toys, and monitor their activities, their friends and their basic life. The more than likely go to bed early and be present at family meals. The child of middle class becomes dependent on their parents, who constantly want your praise and affection, but, is that the achievement and effort. Failure to achieve the goals set by parents can lead parents to abandon and the embarrassment that their son has failed, it will take the child to feel isolated, frustrated and ultimately crime. Even if a child of the middle class has been successful and meet the expectations of his parents, he can still grow frustrated at not being allowed to break the middle class values and standards, you may feel caught in trap, and to release this feeling may carry out criminal acts (Cohen 1955 p98-99).

Unlike the children of the middle class, working class child is less likely to develop overwhelming dependence on the like of one or two adults and children of the working class can be more emotionally dependent and more friends than middle-class children’s children of the middle class may have small or no friends and this will again lead to frustration and the difference (Cohen 1955 P101).

What causes criminal subculture? criminal subculture is a response to problems of adaptation? This adjustment problem has been reduced by the fact that working class children share the low status of his parents, he started his life with a disability, and who cares what he thinks of the middle class. With the failure of their parents is more than likely also fail, it is again the question of why young offenders join subcultures? This part can not be addressed here, the child will see the faults of their parents and saw no future for himself in his mind, if their parents can not, there is small hope for him, one solution is to join Criminal gang acceptance offer, which may protrude from the case, and feel part of something. The working class child is more likely to cause problems because of their relative lack of training in order and discipline, their lack of interest in intellectual performance and lack of reinforcement at home, in accordance with requirements of the school. Its failures in the classroom are related to the fact that they are of a lower social level. If the child wants to win the working class to middle class people who must change their habits, their values, their speech and that is associated. But, the region has grown would be an advantage for him, he was back in the corner to meet your needs. The working class boy in his neighborhood work may be a failure.

The people of the state to treat their children to be respectful and law abiding as previously mentioned, but as middle-class parents provide money, clothes, cars, etc., are trapping the children and them to live up to the situation where they were raised. Apparently, some children of the middle class have attributed the low level and low self-esteem and feelings of resentment and inferiority (Cohen 1955 P111-116).

Many Muslim middle class that sentiment, the feeling of being inferior, rejected, isolated and frustrated, and eventually joining extremist Islamic groups to express their rage and revenge on society, this issue will discussed in detail later.

To summarize this, Cohen (1955 P119) said: “We can say that the boy from the working class, especially if their training and values are what we defined as the working class are more likely than their peers class half are in the bottom of the hierarchy of increasingly moving into a global middle class, whether adults or children. Insofar as the state values of the middle class, or because the values of excellent views of the middle class, either because they have internalized a certain extent the rules of the middle class itself, facing a problem of adjustment and market a solution. ”

When it comes to delinquent subcultures is a way of life for some members of these gangs are becoming more and some of them become law-abiding citizens, while others will get their degrees adult criminality. The difference between criminals and criminals is not the exposure to sub-cultures. The culture in which there is a person who makes the final choice at its destination, if they are raised in a family without rules and guidelines and not where the family shows no like for the child who is constantly being just Then with nothing and I do not mind flying. A family without rules that would expose him to criminal groups. The crime is considered a result of an attribute of the personality of the child, an attribute that the child offender will not own or have the same degree. The offender is reminiscent of the offender, where he frustration, deprivation, insecurity, anxiety or mental conflict, which differ somewhat from those of children who are not delinquents (Cohen 1955, p13 15).

Cohen (1955 p16) states that “psychogenic theories of these two types of recognition of the importance of the social environment of children in the production of the character structure or an adjustment problem, but give small weight in determining the particular form it is expressed. For the first class of theories psychogenic, the id is already there at birth for all people (which means that each human being has a fund to combat against the innate instincts or social). constitutes a criminal offense since the beginning and never changes. What is gained by experience is the shell of the inhibition. For the second category, as a symptom or set method is artificial or given to children themselves, perhaps by one or more of the known mechanisms of substitution, regression, displacement, compensation, rationalization and projection. If other children have the same behavior because they have independently invented the same solution. ”

These psychogenic theories do not apply to all juvenile delinquency, but they offer an explanation of why and how young people join criminal gangs.

Finally, delinquent subcultures, as previously mentioned in the framework, these problems are problems of the state, some children are denied the status of a decent society, because they can not meet the criteria of system status respectable. The criminal subculture addresses these problems by providing criteria for the situation that these children can meet. It is, for example, that people with low-status jobs are necessarily feel deprived, injured or involved in my grave. Like it or not depends on several considerations. Who do we measure the crucial question “(Cohen 1955 p121).

In the U.S., “children and adults a sense of personal worth is at stake in comparison with the state all the others, at least for age and sex. This means that lower levels of status hierarchies is a chronic motivation to raise the position of a State, or trying to scale the template system or by redefining the criteria of the State to introduce one of the attributes assets of a law “(Cohen 1955 P122).

As Muslims living in these western regions have a sense of inferiority, in a globalized world that does not value Western culture, which is more radical Islamist groups.

The boy from the working class can not care what people reckon the middle class, this in a way that it applies to young Western Muslims, you can not care what people reckon of them, but as both are sensitive attitudes of people who have casual contact, such as school friends and teachers. They can make an effort to change, with the agreement, or attempt to justify or clarify why their inferiority in which exempts them, may choose that it does not matter what they reckon and react with rage and aggression, in the case of young Muslims that it may be by acts of terrorism (Cohen 1955 P124).

Cohen (1955 P128) states that “it is a plausible hypothesis, while working class children whose status is low in terms of middle class who care about the state, that state he is faced with a real problem setting. For this adjustment problem is a range of possible responses, including participation in the creation and maintenance of the author is a subculture. Each mode of response involves cost and performance advantages for its own.

Another vital function of the criminal subculture is the legitimacy of aggression. There is a certain degree of hostility between the working class to middle class, the superiority of the middle class and wealth affect the working class, the working class are standards of the middle class, which in a sense is a because of frustration with their status. This frustration is not the only cause of aggression, in some respects, may be present. This link between frustration and aggression of the state of the criminal subculture is a excellent explanation for criminal behavior. They are frustrated by the disadvantages and inequalities, all this leads to the formation of the reaction, these rules have been ups and replacement or substitute their own alternatives. Instead of fighting for money or success, join criminal subcultures to steal or commit acts of vandalism in order to earn respect. The State received the tape of his crime gives them a sense of status and belonging, what society in general can be given. The group takes its own means and values to be excluded from society. This theory clarifies the crime of non-utilitarian, like the flight of worthless objects, vandalism and crime in general (Cohen 1955 P132-135).

But Cohen (1955 P135) said: “For most offenses, the crime would not be available as an answer, but socially legitimized and given a sort of respectability, but by a small community of fellow adventurers. If you feel others are willing to help if someone made a tentative first step and then people will follow. When we deal with the frustration of the state. State, by definition, is a concession of respect for others. A new standards system, which measures the state by criteria that can be done is of no value unless others are willing to apply these criteria, and others can not do so unless one is prepared to reciprocate. ”

As we have already mentioned that the crime may also occur in bourgeois society. A criminal subculture of middle-class values are similar aspects of the subculture of the working class, but different from a subculture of the frustrations of the working class. Crime in the middle class differ in quality and frequency of what is in the working class. Again, this is another difference between the middle class and working class. You can also have different motivations for committing acts of crime (Cohen 1955 P165-167).

“The men of the crime families who are culturally middle class is basically an attempt to cope with anxiety in the basic field identification of sex roles, the primary function is to provide assurances of his own masculinity essential. The motivation for working class crime is more complex. The main problem is in the adjustment of status differences in a system involved me in the state defined by the rules of the respectable society of the middle class . class criminal subculture boy’s work is simpler to succeed, and second, allowing it to retaliate against the rules whose impact was his ego, by the definition of merit in terms of the inverse these standards and punish attacks against them and who embody and apply (Cohen 1955 p168).

I tried to show and clarify why certain individuals involved in crime or participating in a criminal subculture. I tried to show that a sub-culture is the result of some common problems in a community. I tried to clarify my points and looked through the theories of social class to see if the crime is a working class phenomenon. I also tried to show that delinquent subcultures may be the result of the adjustment. These gangs of boys who stand on street corners and hanging in stores, these joint activities that derive their meaning and the desire to be together and governed by a set of common definitions, common sentiments and loyalties common. The criminal subculture has problems similar to Islamic extremist groups, through the thoughts of frustration, rejection and adjustment. Now focus on Islam and extremism and try to answer questions that were questioned for the first time in the introduction.

Chapter 3: Islamic Extremism: The limits of tolerance

First to know Islamic extremism is relevant to first consider an example of how some Muslims are extreme, this example is the death of Theo Van Gogh and the limits of what a person goes in the name of Islam.

“Mohammed Bouyeri was a period of twenty-six Dutch Moroccans killed Theo Van Gogh. The gray raincoat and hat for prayer Bouyeri criticized Theo Van Gogh his bike in a sad morning in Amsterdam. He calmly shot the stomach and after the victim had staggered across the street, shot him several times, pulled out a machete curve, and cut his throat. Leaving the machete planted firmly on the chest of Van Gogh, then pulled out a small knife, a bag scribbled on a piece of paper, folded the letter carefully and pinned on the body with the second knife “(Buruma 2007 p2).

Van Gogh was a thin man with blond curls. Most people in Holland who watch television and read newspapers have been less for his films, but also for his provocative statements on radio, television and Internet columns. Bouyeri gave his victim a few hard kicks and walked slowly, as if he had done nothing incorrect, no attempt to escape, reload his weapon, Bouyeri then entered a nearby parking lot and fired a police officer, but Bouyeri has reached his ball and was arrested. This was not the plot Bouyeri, as he wanted to die as a martyr for her faith, she is known by post and in the letter pinned to Van Gogh’s chest. The letter, which had pierced the chest of Van Gogh, was written in Dutch and Arabic, he called for a holy war against infidels, and the death of a number of persons mentioned by name. A CD was found in the apartment with Bouyeri videos of more than twenty murders of the enemies of Allah (Buruma 2006 P4-5).

The reason behind the murder of van Gogh because of his insults to Islam, was not the only one in which religion has also insulted Van Gogh insulted the Jews and Christians. Several politicians and public figures who have crossed Van Gogh said they slowly die of terrible diseases. When Van Gogh spoke of Muslims, they have insulted the constant abuse mainly calling them “bastards goat. Van Gogh had a constant need of attention that was not enough for him to be a well loved filmmaker, he was hungry for publicity, for example, once your personal attacks were inspired by the show less attention Envy Envy . The film, entitled Submission of Van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, shows a woman about to kneel on a prayer rug. The camera then pans slowly from head to foot, showing her naked body under the thin fabric of her burqa, the film then quotes the draft of the Koran on the naked bodies of young women. The text points to women’s submission, obedience to parents, siblings, spouses and to God. For many Muslims was a deliberate provocation. Van Gogh knew that people did not delight in his films and abuse, but had never imagined that someone would kill for it. mistakenly assume that the rest of the world does not interfere with its scene of Amsterdam (2007 Buruma p91-98).

Bouyeri was of Moroccan origin, like many of Amsterdam most of them in the Netherlands are Berbers, not Arabs in remote villages in the mountains of Rif, Moroccan immigrants lack many things that can give them a sense of not belonging. Women are generally illiterate, and both sexes are very wary and are often in the lower classes of society and poverty. They should try to integrate into European society who do not know, but also try to remain faithful to their homeland. Those who try to succeed through intelligence, hard work and excellent luck in Dutch society often very excellent. Those who do often results in a violent world of gangs and crime, the most vulnerable are people who blocked his ambitions despite their efforts to integrate into a company under Dutch law. Anything that can trigger a mood of violence and destruction, an offer of employment withdrawn, a subsidy is not granted, to close many doors in the face. A man was Mohammed Bouyeri, who adopted the Islamic extremism and chose to join a war against the society in which they felt excluded. This feeling of not belonging led to murder (Buruma 2007 p22-23).

There are many young men in society who feel the same way as Mohammed Bouyeri who have no place in Western society, leaving them isolated. Some young Muslims who use the internet can download English translations of Arabic texts, as they are separated from their culture and traditions. Many people who consider themselves Muslims, in fact, converts to the religion and reckon they are engaged in a revolutionary war. The murder of Theo Van Gogh is not the only contact with Islam is present in European countries. The bombings in London and Madrid and in the Muslim world against cartoons of the Prophet in protest a Danish newspaper exposed and highlighted the perilous breaks that go through many European countries. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, and is gaining popularity in the West (Buruma 2007 p35).

Why these young Muslims in the Western world are frustrated and isolated, which causes this? “In part, this may be an answer. Schizophrenia is seen as a logical response, but this condition does not seem to affect first-generation immigrants, was the second generation of Moroccans, born and educated in the Netherlands suffering of schizophrenia. A young Moroccan man of the second generation was ten times more likely to be schizophrenic, a native Dutchman from a similar economic environment. There are several explanations for these alarming figures. A sense of humiliation may be a factor, or the fact that immigrants tend to see a psychiatrist when things have reached a crisis. But, these explanations are right. The problem lies in the adaptation of a strictly regulated society more open to liberalization, which may lead to the disintegration of the personality. The pressure to assimilate is a risk factor for schizophrenia. Men suffer more than women because they have more freedom to interact with the dominant Western society. When the integration process is moving too quickly, when the son of Moroccan villagers have launched too quickly into the maelstrom of bewildering temptations of the West their cognitive wiring can go terrible incorrect “(Buruma 2007 p121).

Girls and young women have the opposite problem. They must live with many traditional limitations, the ancient order still exists for many of them, the more freedom. Religion for women is seen as a stabilizing factor, without it there would be no rule for them and they could do whatever they want. Muslim men prefer to marry local girls, with girls in Western society are regarded as unstable and potentially deadly. Many Muslim girls marrying non-Muslims and young Muslims to be jealous of this Western culture, but also encourages women to lose their traditional costumes. offers the freedom of Western culture, a culture without borders offers and religious equality (Buruma 2007 P122).

Why is the case in Western society as immigrants and Muslims in particular are very suspicious? Since the attack of 9 / 11 America, all Muslims are considered potential terrorists are not reliable. Many of them are not guilty by the terrible images of the twin towers, but the collapse of the images on TV of Muslim youth dance of joy. Before the attacks against America, educated Muslims were confident in their future in Western society and felt it belonged, was the kind of work uneducated and feeling isolated. That changed with the terrorist atrocities, and education of young Muslims started to feel less isolated as they were victims of discrimination. Which leads to aggression and self-hatred, which ultimately results in self-destruction (Buruma 2007 P139).

Buruma (2007 P140), “said frustrated trained Muslims need to prove to themselves and the world, people sometimes join fantastic revolutionary causes, or embark on a mission to spread the word of God. Others more desperate, can commit a crime spectacular than vengeful gods, the murder of a well-known person, or randomize in a terrified crowd. Some lost souls, to feel truly alive, to show their individuality, you have to killing in the process: the suicide as the ultimate act of will. These are the most perilous “radical losers, murderers who can not stand alone live with them longer and wants to drag the world with them.”

The radical loser is seen further in detail later. This is not just western society that radical Muslims despise, but also culture. Muslims who see Hollywood movies to see a vision of freedom. They see young people without dread of kisses and show their sexual feelings with each other, something which is forbidden for Muslims. Young Muslims of jealousy of Western culture growing up hating the fact that they can not do what they please. They become sexually frustrated and blame the West for a life unmanageable. For many Muslims, there seems to be an obsession with virginity. This value is attributed to virginity that people are blind to the human and social catastrophe resulting from this obsession. Men in Muslim cultures are regarded as irresponsible when it comes to sex, and often lose self-control when they see women, hence the need for sails, which keeps out of sight. In the West, if there were not so many Muslim women, western women and most revealing, Muslim men are sexually frustrated often sometimes participate in the rape and transform their frustration in acts of terrorism (Buruma 2007 P146 -147).

“Why is the case then that Mohammed Bouyeri, who has neither poor nor oppressed, who had received a decent education, a man who has never had distress making friends who loved smoking dope and drinking beer Why your Once a man in a holy warrior whose only desire was to kill, and perhaps most mysteriously, to die? is the very question respondents in the aftermath of the London Underground, triggered by these young men playing Cricket, girlfriends and went to the tavern. All we know is who killed in the name of Allah and his prophet “(Buruma 2007 p193).

Mohammed had begun to reject Western values around February 2003 and October have begun to reject the democratic state and its legal institutions. Then, in March 2004 requested that the global jihad against democracy. Finally, in July, violence against people calling who had insulted Islam and the prophet. This accumulation of leaving its past aggression in which there is an accumulation of disappointment and frustration. His first disappointment was in 1994 when the youth club he visited frequently and had to be closed to make way for new apartment building. Then another group in November 1997, when he entered a fight with a number of police in Amsterdam. When he applied for a job security has been rejected because of negative police report. He met his first girlfriend, and perhaps the only, but it did not last long, attracting women has never been simple for Muhammad. That refusal made him violent, he blamed on racism. This ultimately led to Van Gogh murder Bouyeri (Buruma 2007 P197-200).

“Although many women face life in the West, men, rejection and frustration, back to a fantasy of tribal honor and religious rectitude. The desire of young women easily give way to disgust and rage “(Buruma 2007 P201).

Muhammad seeks to exclude the Western culture in spite of their dialect was Dutch, not Arabic. Islam was their new identity and it would Islam that would protect against all hostile forces around him. He gave her a sense of power, meaning, a sense of belonging and live only for Islam. Mohammed wrote the screenplay often bizarre, published on the internet, telling how Westerners are slaves to the culture of hospitality and are seduced by the dance bars and casinos. Muslims have also been slaves to Western culture, but rescue was at hand, the Knights of Islam would rise from the Netherlands and the Netherlands would be the birthplace of the religious revolution. Mohammed problem with democracy is how people become guilty pleasures of immorality, could not withstand freedom in society, which made him so frustrated in his mind to ruin the civilization that tormented him (P216-218 Buruma 2007 ).

“In the confused mind of Mohammed Bouyeri, then took a deep current European anti-liberalism combined with self-righteous moralism and Islamist revolutionary passion. This explosive combination has a motive to kill the enemies that are brought towards its vision of the world’s salvation. The objectives of rage can be quite random, a security guard at a local welfare office, who threatened to kill Muhammad, while the Dutch people “(2007 Buruma P219 ).

To conclude this, in most Western societies are not always the Muslims who live in society. For some, religion provides rules of behavior, answers questions of what is morally right and what is incorrect, you can give people a sense of pride. The rules may be questionable and the answers may be appealed, but people should be free to work on these issues for themselves. In addition, in the case of Mohammed Bouyeri religion can also fuel the hatred and become a source of political violence (Buruma 2007 P260).

Amsterdam or any other major city in Europe is now connected by a network of instant communication a worldwide movement based on an extremist revolutionary, modern and widely interpretation of Islam. To join this movement was the election of Mohammed Bouyeri. Like all forms of political violence, this is untenable, not only in terms of secular law-abiding citizens, but from the perspective of the majority of Muslims. There may be many others who want to join his criminal case but the choice depends partly on how they are treated by the country where they were born, and this depends on the other option: if it is accepted as Orthodox citizens free of any co-religionist What European nation “(Buruma 2007 P260-261.)

Using the example of the murder of Theo Van Gogh, and looking closely Mohammed B., it is clear that this is part of society, contributing to today’s terrorists. The thought of frustration, rejection and disappointment, making overtime, breaks into an unstable form of aggression and violence against the society that made them feel isolated. Mohammed Bouyeri could not tolerate the society in which he lived, so he took action to change society, and with the help of Islam to protect him, has been in a criminal case on behalf of Allah and the Prophet , which according to him, take him to martyrdom.

Chapter 4: Sexual frustration and losing radical ”

He now focuses on the thoughts of sexual frustration and the loser radical who was briefly mentioned before, may lack sexual or deprivation turn mad young men into murderers. According to Buruma (2006, p. 1) “Does masturbation lead to suicide bombings? You would not reckon. There is no direct relationship with the suicide bombing there is to blindness or schizophrenia. But there may be a link between sexual inadequacy or frustration and appeal of violent extremism. sexual deprivation may be a factor in the current wave of suicidal violence, unleahed for the Palestinian cause and the Revolutionary Islamism. The tantalizing possibility of having to choose one of the most gorgeous virgins in paradise is deliberately dangled trained young men to violent death, and even those who are not trained to kill and die often live in societies authoritarian where sex before marriage is strictly forbidden, which women outside the home, not only supposed to be untouchable, but invisible. Access to MTV, the Internet, DVDs and global advertising reinforces the notion that Westerners live in a degenerate garden of sinful delights. It makes a million Arab youths even more hard to transport and can lead to a mixture of rage and envy. From time to time, this rage will explode in carefully orchestrated orgies of violence. It is said that Mohammed Atta visited a striptease bar before crashing a plane into the Twin Towers. may have wanted a piece of forbidden fruit before his earthly extinction. The fact that it was illegal, repulsive, but also terribly seductive scored his point of view of women in general. He made it clear in his Will did not want women to defile his grave with his presence. ”

This does not mean that sexual frustration leads directly to mass murder. But, can not be excluded as a factor, it was assumed that young men are better fighters when they are deprived of sex, it can be said of football players, their wives are often forbidden to see them before major parties for men better, sex is a reward when the enemy is defeated. Extremism is the loser take revenge on society (Buruma 2006 p2).

He now focuses on the radical loser and not violence and terroism decay, the loser is an isolated individual. path of humanity to organize around the notions of globalization, competition and capitalism, the number of losers increase every day. They feel disconnected from society and the members of this society. The loser accepts his fate and isolated, becomes invisible, save energy, and knowing that one day your time will come in the society and people will pay. The radical loser has to take an active role, should be called a loser and nothing but a loser. You must be convinced that life is treating you terribly, who wins, it makes you feel depressed and miserable (Enzensberger 2005 Part 1)

Enzensberger (2005 Part 1) “indicates that since the attack against the World Trade Center, political scientists, sociologists and psychologists have searched in vain for a predictable pattern. Neither poverty nor the experience of political repression alone seem to provide a satisfactory explanation why young people participate actively seek death in a very bloody and final goal of having as many people as possible with them.

Nobody pays any mind to the radical loser if you do not. And the feeling is mutual. So he’s alone, and it is very lonely, do not strike. He seems cool, silent, a sleeper. But when they draw attention to himself and goes into the statistics, then the sparks consternation bordering on shock. By its very existence reminds how small the other should be place in place. ”

Identify the radical loser is a hard thing, which is unpredictable and hundreds of people in cities, hospitals and offices, the loser keeps his thoughts to himself, lets you see nothing, the silence and the time waiting. That’s why people are worried of what kind of person you might be able to identify, nobody knows when it will explode, no one knows when he makes his bloody revenge. What are the causes of the explosion is unclear. His wife is bothering you, an argument in the pub, has rejected the applications, noisy neighbors. When it explodes if it intends to take as much as possible to speed its own demise (Enzensberger 2005 Part 1).

The loser is aimed at those who he sees as a threat and not to do so. The usual suspects are foreigners, communists, Americans, huge business, politicians, unbelievers, and of course the Jews. When the loser is ruined, for a moment losing a sense of real power, power that can ruin human beings. This act of military force outside the world involved in criminal activities, the outside world that made him a loser and become isolated stem for the first time want to know everything about him and the media is sure to be placed around clock coverage and advertising. Television broadcasts propaganda of the deed, which allows to perform other similar acts of violence (Enzensberger 2005 Part 1).

Enzensberger (2005, Part 2) supports, but what happens when the radical loser overcomes his isolation, when you socialize, find a loser in the house, which can be expected to know not only recognition but also a group of people that those who receive, we need it? While the destructive power that is in it multiplies. The radical loser has no concept of conflict resolution, compromise, which could place you in a network of interests and appease its destructive power. The most desperate of their project, the more fanatical clinging to him. There is every reason to believe that Hitler and his supporters were not interested in victory, but the radicalization and to perpetuate their own status as losers. radical loser will never go away, is still with us, on all continents, and there are leaders who welcome them with open arms. ”

As a loser he is convinced radical one, do not care about their own lives and the lives of others in society. They also have no respect for its own supporters, and often they end up kidnapping and murdering people who try to help a poor region, such as doctors, teachers and aid workers. many losers in the world thought they could take over the world, but most of these losers, and the crowd could not keep pace with globalization. Instead, they terrorize their local customers. Only a violent movement has been able to act globally, Islam (Enzensberger 2005 Part 2).

“Islamism is conducting large-scale attempts to divert the energy of a religious faith in the world with about 1. 3000000000 believers not only still alive, but that even in purely demographic terms is also expanding in all continents. The ideology of Islamism is an ideal way to mobilize the radical losers because of the way which brings together religious reasons, political and social. Contrary to what the West seems to believe, the destructive power of Islamist actions is directed mainly against Muslims. In Algeria alone, Islamist terrorism has claimed the lives of at least 50,000 Algerians colleagues. Other sources speak of up to 150,000 murders, although the military and secret services have also participated. In Iraq and Afghanistan also the number of Muslim victims far exceeds the number of deaths of foreigners. In addition, terrorism has been very damaging for the image of Islam, but also the lives of Muslims around the world “(Enzensberger 2005 Part 2).

The Islamists have no respect for their people, in the eyes of Islamists and most Muslims never blow themselves and others, shows that they do not deserve to live. The aim of the radical loser is to many other people losers, not many people want to be in your group, while the loser thinks that a particular choice few. The Islamist movement has but been able to recruit many activists around the world with their promises.

Another point to note is that in the Arab world, no sense of pride is often hurt by the military inferiority of the West. They also feel less intellectual and not a single notable invention was made by the Arabs during the last 400 years. In addition, even with the huge amount of oil found in many Arab countries could not reap the benefits without the knowledge and inventions of the West in the extraction of oil. His wealth is a constant reminder of the dependence on the West. This will produce losers wounded pride more radical and Islamist extremists (Enzensberger 2005 Part 2).

This dependence also extends to the West by Islamist terrorism. Firearms, explosives, cell phones, TVs and airplanes are all place the West despised. This dependence is often shown to Islamists that their own culture is a bit behind in terms of economy, politics, technology and sexual preferences. With this embarrassment of his own culture, they may have to punish those who live on the west edge because their own shortcomings and Culture (Enzensberger 2005 Part 2)

Enzensberger (2005, Part 2) states that “the destructive power of the radical loser is certainly enough to kill thousands or hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and caused lasting hurt to civilization in which war is declared. Essentially, they are like most people in the world, all infidels and apostates, surrender or die. ”

To conclude, the ever present danger of a bomb from the man walked into a crowd of people was that the daily checks and new laws adopted to try to prevent this from happening. These controls are located primarily in airports, seaports, malls, anywhere really that potential terrorists could target. These additional precautions have been increased dread among the general population. moral panic around terrorism have been made by the media, which leads to panic. The British government has tried to fight against this act of panic through the introduction of new legislation such as the 2006 Law on Terrorism and the fight against terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 which provides greater powers to investigate the activities terrorists and pursue the perpetrators to justice. The Islamists may believe that terrorist attacks have given them victory, but despite the attacks against the World Trade Center, Madrid and London most towns returned to normal within days. The New York Stock Exchange reopened on Monday after the attacks in London and the tube was operational as soon as possible. There is no victory for Islamic terrorists, it is their country of Arab descent who suffer devastating long-term, such as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. People living in Arab societies will pay for the actions of terrorists killed in the West (Enzensberger 2005 Part 2).

This notion that the loser who converted to radical Islam and wants to ruin mankind and rid the world. It is unlikely to succeed in your search. As mentioned above, this is not serious, the more hard the task becomes more extreme in their beliefs. In a global society that constantly produces new losers, this is something that is always present in society and is something we have to live with (Enzensberger 2005 Part 2).

To sum up on this question of why some young Muslims to join terrorist groups Islamic? I tried to show that some young Muslims are motivated by rage, frustration and hatred toward those who are the oppressors, the West Main oppressors. They feel humiliated by the West, its people and their religion. It is not only poor communities struggling to survive without job opportunities that are excellent breeding grounds for terrorism. Many terrorists are well educated middle class backgrounds who are also frustrated by the company, but for them there is the frustration comes from racism, and the fact that distrust of society, even if they are well educated, that racism isolated case and, ultimately, may lead to these Islamic groups. Islam gives these people a purpose alone, feel they belong somewhere. Most suicide bombers in the Islamic tradition are nearly always single and young, and are most often men. The Islamic terrorist groups are united, first recruit them, train them to a range of weapons and bombs and support at all levels. When the time comes, and acts of revenge are treated as heroes, this time for revenge, but, that years of plotting, in the event of September 11; years had been spent on plotting and preparation. These acts of rage and terror would not exist if groups like Al-Qaeda and Hamas did not train people and make backups (2004 Sookhedo P173-174).

“Finally, then the logic is that the frustrated youths who have no other way to change your situation and no other purpose than to be motivated, are likely to find terrorism an attractive option. They have nothing to lose and potentially you could get personal glory and play a role in ushering in the right Islamic state, which they see as the solution to all their ills. The lack of education, it is argued, makes them more susceptible to rhetoric and persuasion of terrorist organizations. While there is certainly some truth in this, we must remember that many Islamic terrorists are well educated and rich. Many have been trained at the tertiary level in the west, so that poverty and deprivation may be a contributing factor to achieving an Islamic terrorist, but rarely is the only factor “(2004 Sookhedo P174).

Chapter 5: Responses to Islamic terrorism

What could be the answer to Islamic terrorism? What can we do to resolve the relationships increasingly hostile between the West and Islam? According Sookhedo (2004 P202) “To fight against Islamic terrorism effectively, increased surveillance and penetration of networks between Muslim communities is essential. The networking group, which gives them their strength, therefore, Efforts should be made to isolate the groups together, and prevent the flow of funds. The strategies are available to fight against Islamic terrorism. One of the first strategies that could be considered are single elimination. By killing all Crushing known terrorists and their groups is certainly a excellent strategy against terrorism, but it is not because of how the terrorists are linked together, to remove the leaders of Islamic groups is highly unlikely and not have any effect on the movement as a whole. Although this method is acceptable, could not be effectively permanent. Sooner or later, will land on terrorism as a Muslim individual who is considered the roots of Islam being given a particular interpretation, and made their own choice to return to the violence of the early days of his faith. ”

Another strategy is the improvement of poor economies in the Muslim areas. Islamic terrorism can grow in poor, uneducated and low employment areas, and many young Muslims feel they have no hope and feel frustrated. To resolve this problem with an injection of aid on the poorest regions of Muslims support the development and improvement of the economy, and could see the end of militant Islam. But many Islamist terrorists are neither poor nor ignorant, and many leaders of these groups come from the bottom of the upper middle class. Osama bin Laden, for example, is very rich and funds most activities of al-Qaida is in pocket. But, this strategy of economic help may mean that fewer people are interested in becoming terrorists (Sookhdeo 2004 P208).

Another strategy to consider is the negation of human rights. “In Western democracies the method of the brutal repression is not an option, therefore, thriving center of radical Islam that now exist in the Western world, management and financing of terrorist activities. All West can do to control or limit these activities is a suspension of certain rights, which allows, for example, detention of suspects without trial and rendition flights. For such methods to be accepted and viable requires overwhelming public support for the result, requires public awareness on the threat of Islamic terrorism “(2004 Sookhedo P207).

The latter strategy would be possible to consider the reform of Islam. If terrorism must be considered in its origin, Islam has changed and will undergo a transformation. In the long term would be that the only way to end Islamic terrorism is the reform of Islamic teachings against war and violence. Some Muslims have embraced the concept of change and request that the origins of their faith to be reinterpreted in the light of modern standards of human rights, freedom and democracy. Making a permanent change and widespread, the central institutions of Islam have to get involved so they can carry out the reform. After suicide bombings in Saudi Arabia May 12, 2003, in which civilians were killed Arabia, reported that Saudi Arabia is considering setting up a commission to formally review the concept of jihad in Islam (P214- 2004 Sookhdeo 215).

Among the strategies mentioned most likely the best hope in the long term success of the Islamic Reform, a non-violent that has the potential to permanently remove the threat of Islamic terrorism. This method is closely related to undermine the theological statements terrorist motivation. Without a theology for the fuel, Islamic terrorism will eventually wither and die.

“The cone of non-violent Islam now rest on its base, stable and very hard to kill. Therefore, those who interpret the sources in the traditional way that has a problem and try to win a suite broader Muslim public. In seeking to promote a reform of Islam has resulted in the elimination of the tradition of violence, the West would go toward a strategy that starts to address the underlying ideology rather than simply to fight against the many people . It is essential that the West should start to actively support the Muslims who seek reform and challenge the leaders of the Muslim world to take this issue urgently. Such a strategy could isolate other militant Muslims their base of support among the broader Islamic society. This method but must be done carefully, and Western intervention in the affairs of Muslims, especially Muslim theology is regarded by Muslims as being in itself a justification for violent jihad. This dual approach, with some way to go in the exercise of certain grievances of Muslims, could offer the possibility of a more peaceful future “(2004 Sookhdeo P217-218).

Chapter 6: Conclusion

In conclusion, I tried to show how young Muslims involved in Islamic terrorist groups. Looking for the first time in the work of Albert Cohen in the subcultures offender who has been able to demonstrate a link to this boy of many workers who are frustrated with their position in society and who feel inferior by others form their own groups their own rules, which do not comply with the law-abiding society. They do not steal because they want something, not the theft of an object that motivates them, but the flight itself, but the object has no value. This may be linked to Islamic terrorism, frustrated young Muslims also feel inferior by society, rejected by a society that discriminates against them by their color or their clothing. Radical Islam, such as youth subcultures offenders, but in a more violent that carry out acts of revenge for the firing rate and civilians to commit suicide bombings. The frustrated young Muslims are motivated, but they differ on a larger scale, because I’m not dying, they get the largest number of infidels and be hailed as a martyr when finally meet his death .

Society and culture in which one is born will have an effect on a person forever. A culture that rejects people, makes people “losers” will result in people looking for a group that accepts them as “losers” Islam is often a response to these young Muslims. Sexual failure is another key factor in explaining clarifies the frustration and inferiority of Muslim youth.

Islam in its classical interpretation is hard to coexist with the modern world. This coexistence will remain a problem unless Islam can examine itself and make changes. No matter what is done to improve the socio-economic development of impoverished Muslims, no matter how carefully the West tries to avoid causing any sort of humiliation that could cause psychological harm to Muslims, still remain reasons for Muslims to wage war against non-Muslims, unless Islam itself can change (Sookhedo 2004 P222).

Hoffman (1995 P225) states that “the message of Islamic fundamentalism is able to attract a broad spectrum of society, because it links the fundamental beliefs of Islam, shared by the vast majority of the population with troubleshooting commodities such as identity, morality and the economy in a rapidly changing society. At a time when secular solutions have been discredited by the failures and the suppression of previous governments, where rapid modernization means that the introduction of new social problems are considered legal, the promise of an Islamic solution is attractive, even If doubts concerning the details are expressed by many. Many Muslims consider religion as the main force in society, without religion human beings turn into animals. In addition, given the severity of the anxiety caused by problems of modern urban society, as long as the fundamentalist Muslims are not allowed to test their solutions with real applications, it is unlikely that these movements will be extinguished. The government crackdown has failed to eliminate Islamic fundamentalism, in part because it is the ideological legitimacy, and partly because the religious meetings can not be banned. ”

“Despite the dilemmas of identity and alienation are more keenly felt by young people and how they go the fundamentalists in the median age can give up some of their earlier dogmatism, there is a pool of new recruits being to take their place. The implementation of economic policies that reduce the gap between rich and poor can help defuse a potentially explosive situation, but they will not, by themselves, remove incentives to find solutions to society Islam “(Hoffman 1995 P225).

In addition, “Islam is based on its perception that the next paranoid West is virulently anti-Islamic. This perception is reinforced when Western governments do not give support to regimes that systematically violate the rights of its subjects . At the same time, public opinion behind the schemes under attack from the West, but they are repressive. Islamic solidarity operates always negative and rarely positive “(Ruthven 2002 P288).

The threat posed by Islamic terrorism is more than ever, with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan takes place, young Muslims to be eternally frustrated by the Western presence in their country home. If peace is ever going to happen, then remove the troops from these countries will be a excellent start for the reconstruction of Muslim societies. Freedom and democracy must be key factors in the reconstruction, not live according to God’s law. That the Muslim people to choose how they are governed, without Western influence, frustration and violence against Western nations could one day stop to exist (Ruthven 2002 291).

But, says Hoffman (1995 P225), although margins are often violent and “crazy”, the words fundamentalists are often much sense for many people. It is unlikely for some time to come people easily dismiss Islam as irrelevant to the social and political life. ”

As part of the campaign to reduce the AAA Foundation of road accidents involving young drivers age 15-20, David Ragan, one of NASCAR’s youngest drivers working with AAA to educate young drivers the importance of safe driving and vehicle maintenance inspection. During the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series last February, David Ragan, 21 finished the race for the fifth point. David Ragan, will travel in schools and other institutions in the United States to educate the students and discuss security measures and the care of your vehicles. Ragan also share their safe driving techniques and show. In fact, Ragan visited some schools in Daytona Beach and Las Vegas and did a demonstration. According to David Ragan, driver of the No. 6 AAA Ford Fusion in 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series: “I know that young drivers face challenges. There are many temptations and distractions that can cause inexperienced drivers to concentrate in bulk. Managing the driving environment and anticipating what might happen in the journey is as vital to young drivers with professional race drivers. Part of the process is mentally prepared to drive, seatbelts and reflect on the conditions under which he directs. It also has to do with not letting your attention wanders from the road, anticipate turns, change lanes or know when to brake or accelerate. AAA has training materials that can help teens master these skills and become safe drivers in AAA. com. “ ”In racing, we have trained professionals to develop and maintain our vehicles. Teens also need to have their vehicles inspected and maintained by qualified technicians. Many young people start by driving older cars and trucks with them many miles. They must be equipped with brakes, steering and suspension components checked. tires, lights, fluid lines and other elements that can be achieved, require attention too. This is something that the AAA Approved Auto Repair program can help. Driving AAA and its 50 million members this year – and the opportunities they offer to talk with young drivers – I hope I can shorten the learning curve and improve the safety margin for people not much younger than me. “He continued. Moreover, according to a study conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety administration (NHTSA), there promote 300,000 adolescents between 15 and 20 are injured in road accidents each year and about 8,000 are involved in fatal accidents . The NHTSA also reported that more than 3,500 teenagers die in accidents each year. In addition, NHTSA also said young drivers “are more likely to speed, the red lights, make illegal turns, and die in a rollover SUV.” Young drivers must obtain a Jeep SUV Jeep Patriot to the quality of the thermostat and security system to prevent side occupant injuries in rollover accidents.

Although this is simply incredible … TOP is a ministry and incredible … not even the most incredible part of history.

From when I was young, Susu (a nickname for Susan), Jennings has always been on the verge of becoming obese. While she was working that he could maintain his weight, but it was still and always on a diet. After her marriage she was not as active and started to gain weight. To complicate matters, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism after the birth of his daughter. Although medications have stabilized their thyroid hormone levels, which does not feel well after that.

Raising a child and a round trip of two hours at work each day SuSu left small time or energy for exercise, so that the weight gain continued. Besides lack of exercise, which use food to fight fatigue and constant stress, he did gain weight quicker.

For over 12 years, SuSu tried dozens of diets and spend thousands of dollars on special foods and supplements. With each new regime, which was to lose 30 or 40 pounds, then click on a plateau where it remained for several months. No matter how I tried, I could not break down this wall. It seems as if everyone is talking about social networking these days, whether it’s using Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, just to name a few.

These networking sites are answering a need that people have to connect with others and share news and information.

Although many individuals have taken advantage of social media, companies are also finding that social media can provide efficient ways to target and build a relationship with their customers.

While most companies have websites, particularly large and medium sized companies, the information on websites is often static. It doesn’t change often, and it doesn’t offer an opportunity for interaction. Some companies have added blogs, which can increase readership. But even blogs don’t always encourage a robust two or multi-way conversation between interested parties.

Businesses are also putting up Fan Pages on social networking sites like Facebook, which does allow for more of a free-for-all conversation, but doesn’t allow a company to really target and market to a specific group.

One new type of program that has a leading edge is a social media networking site called rSitez. com.

By combining the attributes of a traditional website and the fluidity of a social site, rSitez lets businesses build a community of interested consumers. The consumers can then talk with each other (and company members), share events, blog, participate in forums and in general, form a group of members that build an interest in your product.

Another benefit rSitez offers is the ability to monetize the site. Businesses can get paid for using ad words. They can make money also by charging fees for membership, for special reports, or for products. Nonprofit organizations can set up their site to accept donations.

For a growing young business, rSitez (www. rSitez. com) provides a way to start a viral marketing program that involves your customers and makes a strong following; all while helping your business make money.

There are several options available to maximize the chance for children to be included in a health plot. Employer-provided plans routinely offer cover for family members and adding children to private plans is relatively inexpensive. For those families with low incomes who cannot afford cover, there are federal and state funds available to pay for basic cover. But all these options disappear when the child becomes an adult. This is the magic time everyone used to look forward to. Finally, the law recognizes people are ancient enough to take responsibility for their own actions and removes the built-in protections. Except, of course, these new adults are either still in full-time education or joining the group with the highest unemployment rate in the country. For young adults going through college and university, this is the time when debts are really starting to mount up.

Tuition fees and living costs take years to pay off. Adding in the cost of a health plot is often the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Even though all the “better” colleges and universities offer excellent value group insurance, this is one additional cost too many. Younger people take the rational view. They have excellent heath and statistics on their side – the statistics show the vast majority of people delight in excellent health during the prime of their lives. The main risks come from accidental injuries with many hit with huge bills following traffic accidents. So most young people place off the choice on buying into a health plot and hope their parents will solve the problem for them. This calculation may be about to change. The insurance industry applies a simple formula to set premium rates.

It guesses how much it is going to pay out over the next twelve months, adds its operating costs and a profit margin, and then divides this total among all the people holding a policy, i. e. everyone in the group pays a more-or-less equal share. Because millions of young adults opt out, the cost of medical treatment falls unevenly on older people and those with existing medical conditions. The premium rates for everyone would fall if the cost of the nation’s medical bills was divided between all adults. That’s why the legislation working its way through the House and Congress includes proposals to make holding an insurance policy mandatory or to “fine” people who do not have a health plot. This is a form of single payer program because it matches the thought that all the employed should contribute a percentage of their earnings toward universal health coverage.

Health insurance is the huge political hot potato right now. But, if medical costs are to be controlled and everyone is to pay only a honest amount for insurance, some changes will have to be made. Mandating insurance for the young is not a terrible way of paying for universal coverage. As it stands, health insurance companies routinely refuse cover for people with pre-existing health problems. Allowing a redistribution of the additional costs of treating these people among the fit and healthy is the honest option. Whether the politicians will reckon so is another matter. The Republicans believe this infringes basic liberty. The Democrats are not united. It’s going to be fascinating to see who wins the argument.
